Continuing Medical Education
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS) through the joint providership of Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) and American College of Cardiology Colorado Chapter. ABIM MOC Patient Safety
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 11.0 MOC points and patient safety MOC credit in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
11.0 Nursing Contact Hours
Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the North Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Participants must attend 80% of the activity to receive credit.
